Virtual Parenting Support Workshops

The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County is offering a series of virtual weekly parenting workshops for survivors of domestic violence.

Workshop topics will include:

  • Impact of Trauma on Children
  • Parenting with an Abusive Person
  • Setting Boundaries and Limits
  • Increasing Trust in the Parent/Child Relationship
  • Self-Care and Managing Triggers

Participants are invited to attend as many or as few sessions as they would like. This is a drop-in style group, so parents are welcome to attend workshops that sound interesting or relevant to them. Each week there will be education on the topic, group discussion and activities. The purpose of the group is to reduce isolation of parents, provide peer support and increase capacities to parent despite difficult circumstances.

If you are interested,  please call DAP’s 24/7 crisis hotline at 610-565-4590 and we can answer any questions, make sure telehealth is a safe option, provide you with any necessary paperwork and a link to the sessions.
