What a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and support DAP! Our furry friend Chad the Pitbull and his folks are running a Valentine’s Day Card Campaign. Purchase the ADORABLE cards and all proceeds will come to DAP. See flyer for details. Hurry, the campaign runs til February 7th!!! They want to be sure you have your cards ready for the big day.
This campaign is in honor of DAP’s partnership with the Providence Animal Center. They will house and keep a pet safe while a survivor of abuse and their family is finding safety and support at DAP’s Safe House. This is a critical piece of the safety plan for many survivors. Unfortunately, many abusers will use the threat of harm to a beloved pet to keep a victim of abuse from leaving. Now this partnership takes away that thread.
