The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County is now offering a virtual, drop-in support group. Group is open to residents of Delaware County who identify as victims or survivors of domestic violence at any stage in their journey. Group will take place every Thursday from 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m. via Zoom beginning on Thursday, July 9th. No standing commitment is required – come to as many or as few sessions as you are able. Each session will focus on a different topic related to domestic violence and healing. The group’s model is present focused which means we aim to discuss how the relationship has affected each group member and what is in their control to learn, grow and cope from their experience. If a counselor determines that you may benefit from individualized services first, the counselor will provide you with resources and referrals.
