Our new friends from Allstate returned to Nana’s with a check thanks to the volunteer event and Allstate’s Bring Out the Good Campaign. This wonderful gift will allow DAP to continue to support victims of abuse across Delaware County. This donation is in addition to ongoing support of DAP’s financial empowerment classes. And this isn’t all, keep checking in for updates as DAP has been approved for the Purple Purse Campaign.
Pictured on the Left are Allstate Agents: Jim and Mary Ward, Rich Kahmer, Dan Lista, Joseph Bracken, and Allstate Communication Consultant Alyssa Ryan. Not in pic: Peter DeMaio and Dan’s son who helped beautify Nana’s in April.
Pictured on the Right are DAP’s Executive Director Kathy Stone, Nana’s Manager Janice Tinari, Nana’s Assistant Manager Tracie Crawley, Director of Housing and Operations Matt Illich and three of our wonderful volunteers: Pat, Nancy and Pat.
Have you been to Nana’s recently? If so hopefully you like the new paint and layout. This project wouldn’t have been possible without the volunteer time from Allstate, supplies from Lowe’s Brookhaven, and great coordination by the team at Nana’s Attic.
Very recently DAP was contacted by Alyssa from Allstate about possible volunteer opportunities. With help from Lowe’s in Brookhaven and work by Alyssa Ryan, a date was picked and on April 3rd, seven local Allstate Agents donned caps and picked up paint brushes. We had a husband/wife team, father/son team helping to give our 15 year old store new energy.
Thank you to:
- Alyssa Ryan
- Rich Kahmer
- Peter DeMaio
- Joseph Bracken
- James Ward
- Mary Ward
- Dan Lista
- Matt Lista
Do you recognize one of your agents? If so, please be sure to thank them the next time you see them.
Come by Nana’s and see the results of their hard work.
